An example of a personal blend made to revitalize and soothe tired feet. Made with Essential Oils, and in a carrier oil of sweet almond oil. A blend of Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Lemon and Rose Geranium. Therapeutic use. Bonus is that your feet will feel much smoother and softer as a result of using something like this, also.

More on What Aromatherapy is
A more holistic approach to wellness
Utilizes natural essential oils extracted from a wide variety of plants to promote health and vitality and to instill a sense of harmony
A safe and effective alternative for dealing with many routine, day to day challenges to good health and well being.
Look for Essential Oils that are labeled 100% pure, or/aromatherapy or therapeutic grade.
Rose and Jasmine are an exception; they are most often available diluted in carrier oil since the price of the pure oil is prohibitive for most people.
Stay away from anything labeled fragrance or nature identical oils; unless making perfumes and body products. Do not use in aromatherapy products. There is no value in that other than it smells good. Nothing therapeutic about fragrance oils.
A therapeutic grade blend will contain essential oils and a carrier oil such as almond, sunflower, grapeseed, olive oil.

Aromatherapy??
So WHAT the heck is Aromatherapy??
Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of natural aromatic substances - essential oils. Therapy refers to the fact that these oils are used for healing. Aromatherapy gained popularity initially as stress relief used in massage, baths, etc. Today some businesses diffuse aroma into their work environments to make customers and employees feel more relaxed and productive. Aromatherapy also can refer to the use of aromatics for beauty and body care treatments. Go to any spa for a treatment or massage and chances are you will encounter essential oils in the massage oil products, the atmosphere, or you may be inhaling it as you get your treatment.

Benefits of Essential Oil Blends for Emotional Wellness
Some of you might wonder, what actually is the real benefit of using essential oil blends for emotional wellness?? We hear a lot about it and one can purchase blends all over the web at prices that vary astronomically for tiny little bottles.... There are large companies charging boo coo bucks for these proprietary blends...The truth is, if you do some research on your own on essential oils, you can blend some yourself in your own little kitchen. There are numerous blends that can be made with various essential oils for all sorts of emotional purposes. That said, of course I offer my own.
I am certified in aromatherapy however, I am not the end-all EXPERT, having just become certified a little over a year ago. I am continuing to learn, and in my business I have created several blends that do seem to be effective; I'll start with a few blends here on the blog and add to the blog each week a new one until all I offer are here; there aren't all that many in my arsenal, but I certainly can create something for just about anything. I had a client request an anger management blend and she's re-ordered it so it works! YAY!!!
PEACE BABY/CALMING
This is a blend of Clary Sage, Lavender, and Lemon with Grapefruit Essential Oils.
Why: Clary Sage is calmative, estrogen like, and can be an aphrodesiac!
Lavender is restorative, anti-depressant, and calmative.
Lemon/Grapefruit Citrus oils are restorative, sedative, and calmative.
This blend when inhaled will actually calm you and restore you. The best way to use these is to rub a few drops into your palms, cup your hands, and inhale at least 2 or 3 times as needed. You can put a drop under your nose as well. If you have an aromatherapy diffuser you can diffuse a few drops in it and disperse into your environment.
